Auto Insurance Company’s New Policy System Testing Project

Client Background

The client required a new auto insurance policy system, but the vendor team faced project delays and numerous system defects.
Unstandardized project management processes led to excessive communication overhead for testers, further compressing testing timelines.

Solution
Personnel Deployment

GienTech has urgently coordinated the deployment of testing experts to the site to assist the client's project manager in training and quality control efforts.

Installation and Deployment of ATQ Quality Management Platform

The platform assists testing operations by effectively improving the efficiency of requirements management, defect management, and test management, significantly reducing unnecessary communication costs and standardizing testing processes.

Leveraging MAF Automation Tool

Testers utilized the MAF automation tool to execute repetitive test scenarios and regression testing, significantly reducing manual effort. This approach enhanced test case coverage and efficiency while uncovering defects that manual testing might have missed.

Results

The project was successfully delivered, with approximately 2,100 valid defects identified (including 1,200 critical/high-severity issues), ensuring maximal system quality.
The team demonstrated strong cohesion and execution capabilities, earning repeated recognition from the client and expanding involvement in their other projects.
