At the end of 2017, the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC) introduced a dual-recording policy requiring insurance sales processes to be both audio- and video-recorded. This regulation ensures full traceability of sales activities, helping to prevent disputes and fraud. In response, insurers and bancassurance partners swiftly began developing their own dual-recording systems. 

The client urgently needed a system that could:

  • Standardize dual-recording processes across various organizations and ensure closed-loop compliance;

  • Optimize video file sizes to reduce storage and upload delays, while supporting breakpoint resumption without compromising quality;

  • Embed scripting rules and sampling inspection engines to enforce compliance across institutions and channels;
