This major life insurance company operates a vast network of subsidiaries and branches, with a total salesforce of approximately 1.9 million, including over 1.57 million agents in the personal insurance channel. Due to the sheer size and high turnover of the sales team—combined with a shortage of qualified trainers—sales logic training at the branch level faces significant execution challenges. To address this, the company sought to build an intelligent training platform powered by AI coaching bots to improve agents’ understanding and application of various sales logics.

Leveraged facial recognition technology to monitor participants and ensure authentic training outcomes. A floating window feature displays learner performance, helping reduce anxiety through repeated practice and enabling natural responses in real-life scenarios.

Introduced features like learning maps and challenge modes. Learners earn experience points through training and assessments, which can be redeemed for digital rewards, badges, and titles—making the learning process fun and motivating.

Diverse Training Scenarios

Used knowledge graphs to automatically generate a wide variety of simulated business scenarios. Configurable static and dynamic dialogue modules enable diverse training formats. A scoring rules engine evaluates responses and can be tailored to factors like interruptions or emotional tone to standardize training quality.

Efficient Management

Based on standardized company sales logic, the system allows trainers and managers to track learning progress in real time. Knowledge graphs also streamline system maintenance. Backend dashboards provide detailed analytics to support business units, training departments, team managers, and individual agents.

Business Impact

With manual creation, 20 foundational training scenarios required 2–3 days. Using knowledge graphs, over 100 training paths can be generated instantly—boosting efficiency by more than 100x.

Each AI coaching bot can replace up to four human trainers for one-on-one sessions. For a sales team with 17 trainers (each with an average annual cost of ¥72,000), the system can reduce annual operational costs by around ¥300,000.
